2008 SUMMER TRACK MEET SERIES
World Athlete is proud to announce its summer track meet schedule. Join us for these open, community meets. Athletes of all ages and skill levels (youth, high school, college, masters and recreational) have entered our meets. First time track athlete? You're invited, too! Teams are also welcome.
The meet starts with the Parade of World Athletes - a colorful opening ceremony for children. Bring the digital cameras! Events include sprints, hurdles, relays, distance, shot put, discus, javelin, jumps and pole vault. Competition is by age-group and experience. Our Lady Bug division offers friendly competition to athletes age 5 and younger.Throws and jumps use age-appropriate rules and implements. Entry fee is $9/athlete. Team discount available.
The meets are every Wednesday night in July starting at 5:45pm. Order of events will be posted in June. 1/4 spikes. Rain date is always the next day.
