Last year, World Athlete Academy Foundation provided 14 weeks of free track and field programming to children in the South Jersey region. These children received full or partial participation scholarships. In these difficult economic times, more parents are contacting World Athlete about free or reduced fees for our track programs.
Though the generosity of individuals and organizations such as Moorestown Family Fun Day and the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers), children have been able to participate in World Athlete activities. In 2010, many more families will need assistance and would like the opportunity to have their child in a World Athlete program.
